Jeanine M. Donohue
Since beginning practice in 1992, Jeanine Donohue's practice has covered a broad spectrum of civil litigation, including representation of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in mass torts and class actions, as well as cases involving product liability, mass torts, commercial disputes and medical malpractice. Jeanine has represented clients in both federal and state courts on the trial and appellate levels as well as in ADR proceedings. Jeanine's clients have included local Bay Area businesses as well as Fortune 500 companies.
Recognizing that along with the privilege of practicing law comes the responsibility of assisting the community, Jeanine has participated in a variety of community service activities, including Project Open Hands and serving as an officer on the board of The Fog City Harps as well as on the Western Divisional Board of the North American Gaelic Athletic Association.
Jeanine received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College in 1987 and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1992. She also spent one year at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland doing post-graduate work in International Political Economies as a Rotary Scholar. Prior to joining SMO, Jeanine was an associate at Drinker Biddle and Reath LLP in San Francisco. Jeanine lives in San Francisco with her twin children, Liam and Claire. Prior to the arrival of her children, Jeanine was an avid soccer and Gaelic football player.
