Rebecca L. Kassekert
Rebecca focuses her practice on complex litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage and related litigation. Rebecca has litigated landmark insurance coverage cases in favor of policyholder clients and has extensive experience litigating cases involving missing policies, non-products coverage for asbestos-related bodily injuries and bad faith claims. Rebecca's practice also includes investigating and litigating ERISA breach of fiduciary duty class action cases on behalf of employees. She has represented policyholders, employees, employers, contractors and individuals in a wide array of litigation matters since beginning practice in 2001. In addition to her litigation experience, Rebecca has significant experience counseling employers in all areas of employment law. Rebecca was named a Rising Star in 2008 and 2009 by Minnesota Law and Politics.
Rebecca received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001, where she was a staff writer for the William Mitchell Law Review and was both a member and a board member of the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court. She graduated, magna cum laude, from the College of Saint Benedict in 1998. Rebecca is licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and California. Rebecca and her husband, Kevin, live in San Francisco with their daughters Sydney, and Vivienne, and son Kai.
